The strength of natural bamboo

Our cutting boards are made from 100% premium bamboo, carefully selected for its natural strength and durability. Bamboo is hygienic thanks to its antibacterial properties and has a naturally smooth surface that absorbs very little moisture. A considered choice for a sustainable, stylish kitchen upgrade.

Robust and stable

At 2.5 cm thick, our boards balance comfort and strength. You notice the quality immediately: stable while cutting and reliable in everyday use. Cut with confidence and ease, every time.

Versatility in your kitchen

Thanks to their smart, minimalist design, our cutting boards are suited to much more than cutting. Use them as stylish serving boards when entertaining, present breakfast on them or give them a decorative place in your kitchen. A practical, elegant solution is always at hand.

Neatly stored, always dry

The included natural bamboo stand helps your cutting boards dry quickly and thoroughly. It keeps your kitchen tidy and organised and your boards clean and hygienic. A stylish, practical solution within reach, with no more untidy stacks on the worktop.

Premium finish for extra protection

Our cutting boards receive a special treatment with high-quality, food-safe oil. This provides excellent protection against moisture, stains and scratches, helping the boards stay beautiful and intact for much longer. Their smooth surface also makes them very easy to clean and maintain.

Premium gift box: stylish and reusable

Our cutting boards come in a sturdy, luxury gift box that creates a memorable unboxing experience and is perfect for reuse. Give the box a second life as stylish storage for shoes, books, jewellery or other treasured belongings. It makes both giving and receiving extra special.

Frequently asked questions

Cutting boards

What is the best way to care for my acacia or bamboo cutting board?

Our cutting boards are treated at the factory with top-quality oil for added protection against moisture and stains. For best results, regularly apply a thin coat of oil and always let the board dry completely after cleaning. Find the full care guide and advice on choosing oil here

How often should I oil my cutting board?

With normal use, once every 3 to 6 weeks is usually enough. If you use your board heavily or rinse it frequently, once every 2 to 4 weeks is better. When water no longer beads on the surface, it is time to oil it.

Which oils can I use, and which should I avoid?

Use a food-safe cutting board oil designed for wood, or a premium cutting board oil compatible with our original oil finish. Avoid cooking oils such as olive oil and sunflower oil, as they can become sticky or develop a stale smell over time. Find all the guidance and links here

Can the cutting board go in the dishwasher?

No. A dishwasher is too hot and wet, which can warp and dry out wood or bamboo. Rinse briefly with warm water, use mild soap if needed and dry immediately.

What is the best way to clean my cutting board?

Clean with warm water and, if needed, mild soap. Do not soak the board. Rinse briefly and dry immediately with a cloth. Then leave it upright to dry fully, allowing air to circulate on both sides.

Does the oil finish help protect against stains and moisture?

Yes. Our boards are treated at the factory with top-quality oil, giving them better protection against moisture and stains than many standard boards. Regular care keeps that protective layer in good condition.

My board feels rough after a while. What can I do?

This can happen when wood fibres rise slightly due to moisture or heavy use. Allow the board to dry completely first. If it still feels rough, sand it very lightly with fine-grit sandpaper, following the grain. Remove the dust and apply a thin coat of oil. This restores a smooth surface and keeps your board protected.

Candles

Candle safety: what should I keep in mind?

Never leave a burning candle unattended and always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep it away from draughts, curtains and flammable materials. Keep children and pets at a safe distance, and do not let the candle burn all the way to the bottom.

How long does the candle burn?

Burn time depends on size. The 300 gram candle burns for around 30 hours; the 500 gram candle for around 50 hours. For the longest burn time, allow the candle to burn long enough each time and maintain the wick carefully.

How long should I let the candle burn the first time?

On the first burn, allow enough time for the top layer of wax to melt all the way to the edge. This prevents tunnelling and helps the candle burn more evenly afterwards. This usually takes around 2 to 4 hours, depending on the size and conditions.

My candle is tunnelling. What can I do?

Tunnelling usually happens when a candle is not burned long enough each time, so the top layer of wax does not melt all the way to the edge. Next time, let the candle burn until the melt pool reaches the edge, usually 2 to 4 hours. Avoid burning it for much longer than about 4 hours at a time, and keep it away from draughts. Keep the wick short for a calm, even flame.

How do I clean the coconut shell once the candle has burned down?

Allow the shell to cool completely, then carefully remove any remaining wax. Clean the shell with warm water and mild soap and let it dry thoroughly. Avoid soaking it in water and do not put it in the dishwasher.

Birdhouses

What is the coconut bird feeder made from?

The bird feeder is made from a 100% natural coconut shell. The little ladder is made from coconut wood. These natural materials contain no plastic, so every feeder has a unique shape and grain.

Why is this a 100% natural and sustainable product?

Both coconut shells and coconut wood are often treated as leftover material and sometimes burned as waste. Reusing them as bird feeders and little ladders gives them a second life and offers a conscious choice of natural product.

What is the best way to hang the bird feeder?

Hang the bird feeder in a safe, quiet spot in the garden. Use the sturdy natural rope and hang it at least 1.5 metres above the ground, out of reach of cats and other predators. Ideally, choose a place sheltered from wind and rain so birds can feed peacefully and safely.

How we work

Where are your products made?

Our products are made in Vietnam, working closely with local makers and factories. We consciously choose craftsmanship, natural materials and a transparent process.

How do you ensure good working conditions?

Jan, Namture’s co-founder, lives in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and visits the factories very regularly. This gives us direct insight into production and allows us to make adjustments quickly when needed. Every product is made and checked with care, so you receive a beautiful, durable result.

How do you ensure good working conditions?

Because Jan is frequently on site and in close contact with the owner and team, we keep a close eye on working conditions. We choose long-term partnerships, with respect for the people who make our products.

Do you pay the makers a fair price?

Yes. We make fair agreements and pay a price that reflects craftsmanship and quality. This builds a partnership that benefits both the makers and the finished product.

Why do you make your products in Vietnam?

Vietnam has extensive experience with natural materials such as coconut and wood, and a strong tradition of local craftsmanship. Being close to the source and personally involved lets us combine quality, collaboration and transparency. We also value making a local impact by working with Vietnamese makers and contributing to opportunities, craftsmanship and growth in the community.
