How to care for your board
Refresh your board in 4 steps.
Lightly sand the clean, dry board, then remove all dust. Apply a thin, even layer of oil with the brush and wait 2 minutes. Gently work the oil into the surface with the sponge and wait another 5 minutes. Wipe off all excess oil with the cloth. Let the board dry completely before using it again.
Care every 1–2 months
Treat your board roughly once a month to once every 2 months, depending on use and cleaning. If the wood feels dry, looks duller or absorbs water more readily before then, give it a treatment sooner.
Keep wood beautiful
Wash your board by hand, dry both sides immediately and allow it to air-dry. Do not soak it or put it in the dishwasher.

Why choose NAMTURE hardwax oil?
NAMTURE combines nourishing oil with natural waxes. The oil penetrates the wood; the wax creates an extra water-repellent protective layer on the surface. Care for and protect your board in one treatment. Pure mineral oil contains no wax: a wax layer requires a separate product.
What does the protective wax layer do?
The natural waxes remain on the surface, creating a smooth, durable finish. This layer helps resist moisture and water stains. A care treatment renews the protection that gradually wears with cutting and cleaning. Wash your board by hand and dry it straight away.
Can I make knife marks less visible?
Yes, light knife marks can become much less noticeable after treatment. Gently smooth rough or more marked areas first with the included sandpaper. Remove the dust and treat the dry wood with NAMTURE hardwax oil to refresh its colour and finish. Deep cuts need more sanding; oil alone does not fill them.
Is the oil food-safe and what can I use it on?
Yes. The formula is developed for wooden kitchenware that comes into contact with food. Suitable for wooden cutting boards, tapas boards and serving boards. Allow the finish to dry fully as instructed on the label before using the board again.

How many care treatments can I get from 250 ml?
For one L board (33 × 24 × 2.5 cm), 250 ml provides an estimated 13–18 care treatments; for all three boards in the set (M, L and XL) together, approximately 4–6 treatments. With monthly care, that is about a year or longer for one L board. For the full set, it is around 4–6 months, or 8–12 months when treated every 2 months. This calculation allows for one thin coat on both sides and the edges. Drier wood and extra coats can increase consumption.
